For seamless results, the edges of the turf should align precisely with the gauge.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_center=”true” width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”23878″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_section hide_on_mobile=”sm,md,lg”][vc_row bottom_padding=”100″][vc_column][vc_column_text]
TRIMMING FOR PRECISION

CUT TO THE END OF THE GAUGE
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On one side of the seam, trim three stitch rows along the outermost row of stitching, removing any excess backing and helping create a clean, straight edge.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_center=”true” width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”23880″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row bottom_padding=”100″][vc_column column_center=”true” width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”23879″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column column_center=”true” width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
CUT TO THE BEGINNING OF THE GAUGE
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On the other side of the seam, trim three stitch rows to the innermost edge of the first row of stitching. This adjustment allows the two sections to meet snugly without gaps or overlaps.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_section css=”.vc_custom_1696435200879{padding-top: 80px !important;padding-bottom: 52px !important;}” hide_on_mobile=”sm,md,lg”][vc_row][vc_column column_center=”true” text_color=”light” width=”3/5″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1696435200880{text-align: center !important;}”]RE-ALIGN THE TURF[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1696435200881{text-align: center !important;}”]Gradually adjust the turf to achieve a near-invisible seam, ensuring the optimal gap between both pieces. This may require flipping the turf over multiple times, making minor adjustments, and then flipping it back to smooth the seam by running your hands across it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_center=”true” width=”2/5″][vc_single_image image=”23881″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row top_padding=”80″ bottom_padding=”80″][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1696435200882{text-align: center !important;}”]ANCHOR AND TEMPORARILY SECURE THE SEAM[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1696435200883{text-align: center !important;}”]Lightly tack down both sides of the turf with nails spaced every 3 to 5 feet, approximately 12 inches from the seam. Don’t drive the nails in fully – this allow you to make adjustments as needed. Flip the turf over several times to inspect the seam and ensure it remains invisible. If the seam is still visible, simply remove the nails, realign the turf, and check again until you’re satisfied with the result. This “dry run” helps guarantee perfect alignment before any adhesive is applied.
Once the seam looks seamless, carefully fold back both sides of the turf. If needed, place a small object on the folded edges to keep them from falling back into place.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_section hide_on_mobile=”sm,md,lg”][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”BACK TO INSTALLATION PAGE” shape=”round” color=”green” size=”lg” align=”center” i_icon_fontawesome=”fas fa-arrow-right” css=”” add_icon=”true” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fpgblocal.test%2Finstallation-guide-for-landscaping-turf%2F|target:_blank|rel:nofollow”][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
